Supporting our community

Our employee engagement program, Jackson in Action, empowers team members to donate their skills and time through volunteer opportunities each month. Since 2007, Jackson associates have volunteered more than 360,000 hours in our local communities.

Jackson's corporate-giving program supports nonprofits in our local communities through grants, sponsorships, and matching donations. In addition, Jackson has partnered with our associates to support capital campaigns with Greater Lansing Food Bank, Junior Achievement (Nashville), and the Boys and Girls Club (Lansing), expanding their reach and impact in the community.

Jackson is proud to offer employees a nonprofit board training program, Jackson Board Corps, which provides critical skills and highly-trained volunteers to support community organizations. More than 295 employees have completed the 6-session training program since it began in 2014, exemplifying our meaningful commitment to community leadership. 

Jackson's commitment to employee-driven giving is at the heart of our Corporate Philanthropy efforts. Our employees impact their communities through our Jackson in Action employee volunteering program as well as through donations to their favorite nonprofits that are matched by Jackson. Collectively, 27% of our annual philanthropy budget is spent on employee gift matching.
