We set expectations of our suppliers, which we expect all suppliers to adhere to while conducting business with, or on behalf of, Jackson. Suppliers are expected to adhere to the following:
- Professionalism
- Cooperation
- Recognize and respect diversity
- Communication – that is continuous, frequent, open, honest, clear, and immediate
- Confidentiality – Jackson and its suppliers sometimes share confidential information, usually in the form of written documentation. This information shall only be used to successfully complete work for Jackson. A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) must be executed. Third-party access to this information is unacceptable except upon prior written consent by Jackson.
- Ethics – As a foundation for trust and good-faith relationships, we hold ourselves accountable to high ethical standards.

To make sure that Jackson works with the best possible suppliers, our selection process may include a review of:
- Supplier capabilities
- Supplier’s ability to agree to Jackson’s contractual documents
- Financial review
- D&B/Dunn & Bradstreet (or comparable) reports
- Customer and/or supplier references
- Credit, criminal and civil court records
- Insurance information
- Judgments and other court actions
- Licensing
- Sanctions
Our Purchasing team works diligently to identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers to support the ongoing needs of our business. Among the goods and services that we commonly buy from external suppliers are:

- Contract labor
- Facilities services
- HR/Employee services
- IT software and services
- IT hardware
- Meetings/Events/Conferences
- Office equipment and maintenance
